Lead Engineer - Analytics

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a master's degree in computer science and/or software technology or similar and some years of relevant industry work experience.In order to perform in the position you must have a developed understanding of the video analytics market and knowledge of video analytics algorithm development in embedded systems.A big part of the role is strategic and you must be able to analyse and draw conclusions based on many sources of information.You will act as team leader within the Analytics area and it's important that you are comfortable in such a role and can function well within a group.You are patient, driven and pedagogical and if you have experience from project planning or of technology roadmapping this is highly desired. You will have a central role when collaborating with external partners in order to recognise future trends and needs.This will be an important part of information when developing our strategy and experience from such work is desired.Apart from this we believe you have good C-programming skills and very good Swedish and English skills.THE CORE TECHNOLOGIES TEAM The Core Technologies team is responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Vision, Imaging and System.We perform technology roadmapping, executes the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies.We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.In addition to this we define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole.
