Are you ready to lead and contribute to cutting-edge automotive technology projects? We are seeking a skilled Lead Engineer to take charge of feature development within major projects or oversee multiple features in smaller projects.
Your role will be crucial in ensuring maintainability, creating roadmaps, and establishing requirements during the early phases of new technology development. You will play a pivotal role in crafting efficient repair and diagnostic strategies, through failure mode analysis, simulations, and physical and virtual testing to final verification.

• Lead feature development in major projects or manage multiple features in smaller projects.
• Take ownership of maintainability aspects and contribute to creating roadmaps and requirements during early development phases.
• Drive the formulation of efficient repair and diagnostic strategies through meticulous failure mode analysis, simulations, and comprehensive testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of features.
• Utilize your data analytical skills to translate data into valuable insights for decision-making.
• Apply your extensive automotive knowledge to contribute to optimized design and development processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both internally and externally.
• Play a central role in creating and presenting business cases.

About you
• Master´s or Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the automotive industry
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Proficiency in hardware and software development
• Proven expertise in conducting packaging studies (both physical and virtual) using 3D models
• Strong data analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights
• Sound understanding of failure mode analysis on various levels
• Confidence in building business cases and a deep understanding of Aftermarket business fundamentals
• Familiarity with complete vehicle systems, customer usage patterns, and vehicle maintenance
• Effective communication skills, both written and spoken, in English
• Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation and stakeholder management
