Lead Engineer Cell Design

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop advanced lithium-ion battery cell for energy storage, electric vehicles and other applications
Define customer requirements, describe the product specification, and specify design parameters of the product
Freeze the design parameter with fulfilment of the product specification and customer requirements
Lead and support team member’s tasks and development activities
Report the development status and results to the manager regularly

Qualifications/education/experience 
PhD or MSc in Chemical/ Electrochemical engineering for chemical cell design, or Material science/ Mechanical engineering for mechanical cell design
Experience in lithium-ion battery cell development; typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a MSc degree; or 5 years and a PhD; or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience of large-scale battery fabrication and testing

Specific skills (eg specific programmers, languages, certifications etc.) 
Excellent English written and oral skills 
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
