Med stöd av befintliga resurser och tillförsel av japansk spetsteknologi startar företaget en ny verksamhet i Trollhättan, där utveckling och produktion inriktas på elbilar. Målet är att bli en ledande tillverkare av elbilar.

Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Lead engineer – Combustion / engine calibration. The Lead engineer primarily collaborates internally with project leaders and development engineers. External communication involves system suppliers (Tier 1) and engineering service providers.

This role is also expected to: 

-          Support the Powertrain and chassis engineering and development
           organization with theoretical and practical knowledge on engine calibration.

-          Support supplier assessments/reviews.

-          Develop, calibrate and evaluate vehicle level control logic in the areas of
           emissions, drivability, range efficiency, performance, legal compliance and
           safety.

-          Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products,
           processes or reduce costs.

-          Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification/validation and
           develop countermeasures as needed.

-          Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and
           validation methodologies and procedures for the engine calibration, which
           will meet the overall vehicle requirements.

-          Lead and plan calibration activities to meet target date.

-          Lead and plan the calibration team in their daily work.

 
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

-          Relevant experience in the work area, minimum 10 years, preferably in the
           automotive industry.

-          University engineering education, bachelor degree or equivalent experience.

-          Drivers license B

You master English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

-          Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of vehicle/powertrain
           controls, particularly in a CV (Conventional vehicle) context.

-          Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.

-          Have good communication skills.

-          Have good Matlab/simulink skills.

-          Have excellent experience in Vector CANape and/or Etas INCA tools.

-          Be willing to travel frequently.
