Plant Engineering Operations is a part of Service Operations in the NCE (Northern & Central Europe) Region and supports the organization in the installation and service of a great number of SCADA systems controlling medium and large-sized wind power plants. Our job is to turn a cluster of wind turbines into a power plant according to contractual and regional requirements.
Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors.
Responsibilities
As a Cyber Security Lead Engineer, you will be part of the NCE Plant Engineering team responsible for commissioning and maintaining Vestas SCADA solutions and other automated functionalities in our power plants in compliance with Vestas’ standards and customer requirements. You ensure knowledge transfer and contribute to optimizing and improving our products.
Your focus will be on:
Customer engagement during sales, commissioning, or testing (FAT/SAT) of new wind power plants in their construction phase.
Commissioning, Maintaining and upgrading cyber security products throughout the life cycle of our Wind Power Plants
Supporting our value chain representatives for all stages in the life cycle of a wind power plant, from production through commissioning to service operations
Implementing, supervising, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the OT devices in our Wind Power Plants
Ensuring that the OT data and infrastructure is protected by enabling the appropriate security controls
Engaging in Cyber Security Incident handling when needed with the assistance of the team
Qualifications
AS this position is on a Lead Professional level and with the abovementioned responsibilities, we have high expectations, and we hope that you can reflect resonate with the following:
Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant technologies
Detailed knowledge of or certification in industry standards within this area, e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001, IEC 62351
Hands-on experience and detailed knowledge with IT systems such as Windows, VMware, Linux and similar
Experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell and or other scripting languages
Great awareness of cyber security trends, hacking techniques and IT/ICS
Knowledge about computer forensics analysis, ethical hacking, security testing
Reviewing, evaluating, and providing feedback to stakeholders on technical aspects

Further information
Location: You will be able to work out of our offices in either Aarhus N, Denmark, Hamburg or Berlin, Germany, Vienna, Austria, or Malmö, Sweden. You should also be open to be travelling approximately 30 days a year for training and other job-related activities.
