Lead Engineer Electrification

Job description
Dynapac rollers (both soil and asphalt) are used in road construction working areas all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. Our industry is now facing a very interesting transformation as we are joining the global trend of electrification. We are therefore looking for someone to help us as Lead Engineer Electrification.

You will be working in the Heavy Compaction Design & Development department in a key role as technically responsible for our electrification journey. You will report directly to the Design & Development Manager, Rollers.

Among the tasks:
System responsible of electric power-train, including dimensioning and design
Analytics of performance of machines and sub-systems
Participate in evaluation and selection of partners and suppliers
Acting as main point of contact to chosen suppliers
Establish strategy for electrification considering our complete range of machines
Estimate work effort and break down design items into manageable work packages
Reporting of progress to management
Documentation of developed functionality
Hands-on testing on prototype machines
Understanding of customer need and demands
Follow up field test machines
Monitoring of technology and market trends


Experience requirements
We expect relevant experience of work with Electric Systems
Previous experience as project manager is a plus


Knowledge
Knowledge in any of the following areas of technology is an advantage:

Battery/BMS Systems
Electric drives
Hybrid solutions
Hydraulic systems


Educational requirements
You have a Master of Science degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience.

You have a strong ability to lead teams, both local and international, but also to independently pursue issues within your own area of responsibility.
