What you’ll do
Programming industrial software for upgrades of existing product automation
Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate project schedules and plans
Implementation of software verification testing
Troubleshooting of software defects and customer issues
Resolve technical questions and concerns through interaction with customers, vendors and internal personnel
Participate in cross-functional technical reviews and risk assessments
Establish test plans to determine compliance with functional and design requirements
Generate detailed requirements for automation projects, both internally and with external customers, for assigned projects.

Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related STEM Major
15+ years’ of process automation experience
Demonstrated experience in the programming of Rockwell and AVEVA (Wonderware) PLC systems platform
Comprehensive understanding of and strong hands-on development experience with application development and system/hardware integration
Experience coding Siemens software
Experience coding Rockwell PlantPAx software
Experience coding DeltaV software
Experience working with automation hardware
Experienced with stage gate engineering design processes
Ability to develop simple approaches to solve complex design problems
Able to work independently with minimal direction
Excellent cross-functional teamwork, coordination, and communication skills
Global project experience
Experience at biotech/pharma commercial manufacturing (GMP) facility in an automation role
