We are now looking for a Lead Engineer Interior Trim!

 

Description

You will be part of the Engineering Team within Interior Development and work with Design, Styling and Mechanical Integration organization. The organization is responsible for requirement setting, design/implementation and Integration. You will part of a Team consisting of Engineers, with your primary responsibility, Interior Trim. You will also work close to Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering and have supplier contacts.

A Lead Engineer is involved in all phases of a car project.

 

The role as Lead engineer for Interior trims involves:

- Establishing system requirements
- Responsibility for system /part planning
- Generating detailed design solutions
- Be part of the daily interface work and agree on interfaces
- Contribute with design input in all needed Integration work
- Incorporate Lessons Learned into the design solutions
- Responsible for the quality of the design
- Anchoring actions and decisions with the responsible line and project management
- Responsibility for future system strategies.

 

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Has relevant experience within Interior Trim development in Automotive Business, minimum 10 years
- Is fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Has driver’s license B
