Lead Engineer SW

Background
What:
Develop a common SW download engine for all areas: R&D, Manufacturing and Aftermarket
Why:
There are at least five different implementations for SW downloads engines at VCC
Different implementations causing different problems which also is difficult to analyze.
SWDL logic is costly to develop and maintain, is multiplied by each tool
Limited and different feedback (Installation Reports) from the SW download tools makes hard to do analysis

Scope of Work
Develop and implement OneEngine (OE) solution globally for vehicle Software Download (SWDL) and diagnostic communication in Manufacturing.
The work will consist of test/development of concept and scripts used in test by Bosch tool GradeX and VCATS in box car environment. Also knowledge and experience from Siig is seen as an benefit.
The tests includes:
Fault tracing
Script programing
Process prerequisites (work height, work zone, variant, etc.)
Connect structure to the process steps
Time estimation of process
Tools that are used in the process

Prerequisites
We expect that the Key user has an experience from boxcar-testing and software download within automotive. We expect that the team members have junior experience in end of line or similar. We also expect that the candidates have basic knowledge and previous experience in manufacturing cars. It is meritorious if the candidates have experience/knowledge of working within GradeX and Siig.
