Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production. For that purpose we need to strengthen our Durability/Reliability Validation & Testing Unit.

We are now looking for a Lead Engineer, Theft protection & Body Closures Testing!

  Description

The Durability/Reliability team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Vehicle Integration & Testing Organization. You will be part of a strong team that is responsible for all durability, reliability and structural testing that will be performed for NEVS products or external assignments.

In your role you will work both with internal and external customers as well as with cooperation partners. You will report to the Manager TDC, Electric vehicle testing.

The role as Lead Engineer, Theft protection & Body Closures Testing involves:

- Testing of fit & finish, air and water tightness, functionality under varying driving and climatic condition.
- Develop and document test methods
- VAP (Validation Activity Planning)
- Support in work with FMEA and legal requirements interpretation
- Support in budget work and investments
- Supporting the unit with other necessary activities



  Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

- Minimum education of a High School or equivalent.
- Experience in test equipment and systems used for testing and analyzing test results
- Hands-on- and theoretical knowledge and experience in durability testing of the flexible structure, both regarding electrical, climatic and strength and fatigue, minimum 5 years
- A good knowledge of measurement systems Ipetronik/diadem, LMS pimento, Lab View, MTS flex test and gyro measurements with Microstrain.
- Very knowledge in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driving license B
