Lead engineer Vehicle add-on's & accessories
Are you the perfect combination of being both strategic as well as a doer? Do you love engineering and cooperation? Well, we might have the job for you! We are looking for someone to take charge of the development and continuation of the vehicle add-on portfolio for Lynk & Co cars, both existing and new projects. What does this mean ? You will sometimes develop parts in our engineering tools, like CATIA, with drawings and documentation. You will also lead the communication with purchasing, suppliers and Research and Development organizations, both in Sweden and China. You would most likely also spend some time in our cool workshop, being hands on to secure the add-on's for processes like pre-delivery inspection.
Examples of add-ons in the 01 Portfolio is towing hook and TRM, roof-racks, charging cables etc.
You will be located in Gothenburg, Lindholmen.
What you´ll do
- Build up Lynk & CO add-on portfolio together with our business side, to fit the needs of our customers
- Operate in CATIA with 3D-drawings and documentation like ESOW’s
- Plan and coordinate for required engineering work and secure partners to corporate with
- Find smart solutions and strategies connected to add-ons together with other brands in the Geely family
- Challenge existing automotive standards within areas like add-ons, serviceability and new system solutions. Motivate with business cases and benchmarks.
- Set, handshake, challenge and follow up requirements in close corporation with R&D and projects
What you should have
- 3+ years experience within engineering, preferable with accessories and add-on's
- Good knowledge in CATIA, drawings and documentation
- A strategic mind to develop and maintain a portfolio based on customer needs and with focus on sustainability, driving requirements and following the Lynk & Co vision
- A street smart mind to find best ways of solving tricky issues, could be from anything between engineering issues to purchasing issues.
- You would benefit from having experience and knowledge from working with development projects in China. Even better if you even speak Chinese?
- We believe you have several years of experience working with vehicles from a requirement setting perspective
- Positive, flexible and solution driven personality to easily navigate in changeable organization and project setup
