LEAD ENGINEER/COORDINATOR AUTOMOTIVE

ALTEN Gothenburg is now expanding and seeking a new member to join our in-house team working as a Lead engineer/Coordinator in a workpackage for an Automotive customer related to Durability and NVH.

We are looking for you who has a proven background working as Lead engineer or as coordinator with a strong will to get further in your career. The role requires that you have a background within CAE and preferably within Durability and/or NVH for Automotive industry. The role includes being the link between the customer and ALTEN and coordinate the activities the customer want ALTEN to perform. It also includes planning of resources together with your closest Manager at ALTEN. It also includes perform CAE activities on your own. There might also be possibilities to be involved in our in-house projects related to other fields like Life science if it is of interest.

The job involves coordinating the team within Durability and NVH. You will be responsible for the communication with the customer, coordinate the activities, resource planning with your closest manager and perform CAE acitivites.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

-Proven experience within ANSA, META, ABAQUS.

-Minimum 5 years of experience working as CAE Engineer within Durability and/or NVH for the Automotive industry.

-You should be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is a plus. We are expecting excellent communication skills, ease to translate complicated computational concepts to the public, and a collaborative approach with co-worker and customers.

We will not consider applicants without a professional experience in Durability CAE simulation or something related to the field for Automotive industry.

Preferred:

-Skills in NASTRAN, OPTISTRUCT and DESIGN LIFE.

-Skills in MATLAB and PYTHON
