Product Management is dedicated to secure Volvo Trucks leading total offer. To be able achieve these goals, continuously initiate various research, studies, and analysis of current and future needs including systematical follow up of our performance from customers, society or from a competitor viewpoint.


One of the team responsibilities is to continuously monitor and measure Volvo trucks environmental performance and reporting of environmental data such as (SBT, circularity and other environmental KPIs). As a Lead Environmental Controller, you will be supporting the work to achieve Volvo Trucks CO2 targets and environmental footprint from product use, including reporting and tracking progress towards our goals. You will also set global plans and roadmaps together with regional sales organizations.

What will you do?

You will have a key role making sure that Volvo Trucks achieve the committed Science Based Targets. This by analyzing performance and establishing global roadmaps and plans.


Your main tasks are to analyze data, creating knowledge and support decisions as a way to create competitive advantage in the transition to net zero greenhouse gases.


Main tasks and responsibilities
Manage and further develop Volvo trucks environmental reporting in line with established standards and Report environmental status to Volvo Trucks management team including proposal of action plans.
Prepare materials for GHG emissions roadmap, develop and coordinate data quality and support the organization with data analyses and insights. Identify gaps & drive improvements.
Monitor development of external GHG reporting frameworks, regulations and practices
Collaborate with development teams and sales organizations to set strategies and plans
Support the development of existing and future IT-tools
Take active part in further developing & securing that Volvo trucks complies with current and future environmental reporting standards & stakeholder requirements related to circularity.

Qualifications
You have a desire to make a change for a sustainable future
You have a university degree in environmental sciences, accounting & finance, engineering or equivalent
Experience of environmental data management and reporting according to relevant standards and regulatory is a merit.
Excellent analytical skills and it’s a merit if you have experience of MS Power BI or other visualization tools.
Ability to manage projects and collaborate across functions.
Interest in technical understanding of vehicles and or transport industry is an advantage.
As a person you have excellent interpersonal skills and are development oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication skills
