As a Lead Full Stack Developer on our team, you will play a crucial role in creating and executing product strategies to ensure smooth and efficient customer journeys.

What You’ll Do:

Design and build services with a focus on business value and usability.

Design systems with scalability and flexibility in mind.

Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.

Improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing.

Identify the critical details and prioritise incremental delivery

Share and implement ideas to help our teams move fast
What You’ll Need:
-
5+ years of experience in building and maintaining high-quality, scalable, service-oriented web applications with React and Kotlin.

Proficiency with Python (must) and one or more modern programming languages (Java, Kotlin, ReactJS...etc.).

Experience working on AWS (must) or any other cloud platform ecosystem.
-
Strong sense of ownership and focus on long-term usability and extensibility.

A collaborative attitude, team player, friendly, with passion and flexibility to learn new tools and skill sets.

Hands-on development experience in Java with/without J2EE or/and Kotlin
-
More than three years of professional experience in a software engineer or equivalent position.

Familiar with cloud-native technology and architecture.

Experience working on Distributed systems and microservices.
You do not need to master all the technologies in the list above, but it is an advantage to have good experience in coding in the backend, for example, with Python.

The value for all advertisements in 2018 amounted to SEK 714 billion - equal to 15 percent of Sweden’s GDP. Thanks to second-hand trading at Blocket, 0.8 million tonnes of greenhouse gases can be avoided every year. The output being equivalent to if Stockholm’s city roads stood empty for about a year. Blocket has approximately 240 colleagues and the office is located in central Stockholm.
