We have immediate openings for highly motivated and experienced Lead Instrument Engineers. Qualified candidates will enjoy working with customers in the chemical industry on a wide variety of projects involving refined petroleum products and related facilities. Candidates will experience a fast paced, high demand work environment, managing multiple projects for a variety of customers and coordinating efforts with multiple disciplines and support resources.

Work description:
As Lead Instrument Engineer you will fulfill a crucial and leading role in our projects and also have a close cooperation with other engineering disciplines within the projects. As most of our projects are executed close to customer sites, we have the benefit of receiving constant feedback between design and execution.
You are part of our Instrument & Control department and you will have the following tasks;
Support P&ID development; help maintain the P&ID's through the course of each project phase
Support development; help maintain the Instrument Index and I/0 List through the course of each project phase
Support development of engineering / design effort hour estimates
Develop instrumentation and control systems engineering / design scope of work documents for project
Support incorporation of control systems content into mechanical equipment vendor packages
Coordinate with process engineers to obtain process data for use in specifying tagged field instruments
Provide technical direction for selection of items to be specified or purchased, ensure compliance with customer requirements and standards, check specifications and requisition packages prepared by others
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications and requisition packages for inquiry and purchase
Prepare technical bid evaluations and make recommendations for purchase
Review vendor data to assure specifications and project requirements are met
Review long lead requisition package deliveries for compliance with schedule critical path
Develop instrumentation and control systems construction scope of work documents
Specific Accountabilities:
Responsible to deliver scope with quality, in time and within budget.
Plan and follow up with all resources available in the project including workshare resources.
Coordinate and align with other disciplines in the project.
You are used to taking responsibility for both technical and administrative tasks.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
Higher education engineer or a YH / KY education in automation, and / or control and regulation training.
At least 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
Experience of instrument / electrical design in the process, paper industry nuclear power, or refinery is preferred.
Experience with SIL and / or ATEX is preferred.
Computer experience Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation, SAP and SmarTeam is preferred.
Language: Swedish and English, in speech and writing.
