Position Description

Are you interested in working in tight teams, close to the end-product and making a difference for the environment? Then this is a job for you. Emission in-Vehicle Verification is a passionate team working primarily with on-road emissions measurement with PEMS (Portable Emission Measurement System). This is an important part of the development of new products, not only to fulfil the legislation but also to ensure we deliver what the customer and society want and expect. As part of our team you will conduct testing on prototype and customer vehicles. The team of 12 technicians and engineers work in a problem-solving culture with a broad knowledge base, and we are now looking for a new colleague.
Main Responsibilities
In the role as lead PEMS engineer you will drive and improve our testing methodologies for measurements of emissions in-vehicle with PEMS equipment, where the main target is to conduct reliable and repeatable PEMS tests. You will be responsible for planning of the test series, preparing the test, ensuring the quality during testing, analyzing the results, and document the results. You will be a key person for ensuring our test methods and analyses are the best in business both for current and future legislations and products. Alongside performing tests, test method development, equipment improvement and software improvements an important part is to be a team player contributing to our supporting culture and drive the team forward.
Who are you? (Preferred knowledge/experience)
Master of Science or similar experience
Experience from engine or EATS development, vehicle testing, or emission testing
Knowledge of PEMS equipment technology and analysis tools
Knowledge of the heavy-duty on road European emission legislation
Coordination skill/Test planning
Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
Analytical and organized
Team working skills
Flexible with a hands-on approach
You have a positive attitude with a drive to deliver results
Nice to have:
Driving license for heavy trucks and buses (C/CE/D/DE) is a merit
Basic understanding of engine, EATS and driveline controls
Knowledge of CAN buses diagnostic and protocols
Fault tracing skills
Knowledge of ATI Vision, CANalyser and SAKURA
