Your role

You will be responsible for the planning and prioritization of the development work of the Integrated ATC Suite (I-ATS), Saab's air-traffic management system. The development teams consists of for example, software developers, integration engineers, tester, and product systems engineers.



Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:

*

tailor the common processes and practices to secure that they add value, execute the product roadmap and support our business
*

work closely together with our customers; the sales organization, the product manager, and the project managers (project managers and lead systems engineers) to secure the I-ATS deliveries. Also work closely with the sections managers for planning how their resources shall be used in an optimized way
*

make sure that work packages given to the development organization is prioritized, cost estimated and described in way that facilitates and optimizes the product development



Your profile

We are looking for a person with excellent organisational skills and knowledge in agile or semi agile software development. As a Lead Product System Engineer, you are able to prioritize the different work packages to meet customer contracts and internal R&D obligations. By having control over the development you establish a performance-driven culture that will be of critical importance to the success of the I-ATS product.

an appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification

adequate experience within the area of operation, organisational and business strategy, support processes, and configuration management topics

ability to pair strategic thinking with operational actions

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The position is located in Lindholmen, Gothenburg and you will be a part of the Development Organization for ATM TS.
