Lead Project Engineer CO2

WA3RM works to develop and finance ‘regenerative’ operations that reuse residual flows from industries. These may be based on resources such as surplus heat, but also about other flows, such as CO2, industrial sludge and wastewater. We call this “waste-to-X”.

We focus on large, energy-intensive, industries with well-developed and efficient operations. These produce a steady flow of surplus streams that represent challenges in terms of sustainability and that are often costly for the industry to handle within its own sphere. These flows can represent important resources for external actors, which is one of the core aspects of WA3RM’s offering.

WA3RM’s business concept is to capture surplus streams from major industries and use these to create and finance regenerative, often food-producing businesses where the circular element is dominant.

Job description

As Lead Project Engineer CO2 you will be involved in projects together with industry and greenhouse customers with focus on identifying solutions to recover CO2 from flue gases or other residual streams for use in greenhouse facilities. You will also be involved in driving innovation projects around new technologies for flue gas treatment and CO2 capture from industrial sources.




Main tasks:

Being involved in developing concepts and designs for flue gas treatment and recovery of CO2
Identify and evaluate suitable technology for flue gas treatment and/or CO2 capture for different types of industrial projects
Produce documentation for purchase of system solutions and technical evaluation of offers and suppliers
Improvement and development of technology for CO2 supply to the greenhouse facilities together with the operations team





Experience

We are looking for candidates with relevant work experience and knowledge of CO2 capture (carbon capture), flue gas treatment, or other industrial activities including production/processing of gases.

You are fluent in spoken and written English.




Education

You have a degree as Master of Science in Chemical Engineering or equal
