In this role, you will:
Transform the way our solutions influence the world by driving development projects and quality activities to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. You will lead cross-functional teams focused on Electromobility applications. Your proven ability in communication, adjusting content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders, will be crucial. Your exceptional experience in project management, combined with your ownership mentality, will help others grow. Your analytical skillset will allow you to find patterns in complex data and pursue an understanding of the bigger picture. You will lead projects, quality cases, deliveries, investigations, and manage cost and feature requirements.

Also, you will drive initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality performance, you will act independently or lead a team, taking full accountability for the entire product lifecycle—from early problem identification to solution implementation in factories and aftermarket. Your skillset will enable you to master various quality systems and tools, actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and create necessary documentation.

Your daily work will involve interacting with various stakeholders, including Operations, Purchasing, Dealers, Suppliers, and other engineering and management teams, fostering proactive and constructive cooperation. We will encourage you to speak up and ensure your voice is heard.

Bring your innovative vision, enthusiasm, deep expertise, and outstanding communication skills, driving the development of next-generation technologies within a collaborative team setting. Your ability to solve complex problems will inspire and elevate our work to new heights.

You should also be results-driven, structured, and possess proven expertise in leading technical development solutions. Your proficiency in managing scope and deliveries, defining and maintaining project plans, timelines, and project costs is crucial. Also, you will need to gasp the overall scope and create a decision matrix summary for senior management as a task force leader. 

Additionally, you will need to:
•    Be vigilant regarding Quality dashboards and aftermarket trends.
•    Serve as the reference for reactive Quality practices.
•    Lead cross-functional teams and conduct risk assessments for high-severity issues.
•    Bridge between Engineering Quality and Volvo governance for concerned cases.
•    Ensure lessons learned are documented and accessible in a common database.

Requirements:
•    A minimum of 10 years’ of Project management experience as senior engineer.
•    Blackbelt certified with proven implemented projects within Automotive Industry.
•    Master of Science in Electrical, mechatronics, mechanical or similar.  
•    Previous professional experience managing projects in the automotive product development field, preferably from Volvo Group.
•    Experience from the full development life cycle of the R&D and quality processes. 
•    Lead experience with quality tools (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, etc.)
•    Experience working with product documentation.
•    Experience to lead complex investigations with a problem-solving mindset.

 Merits: 
•    PMP certificate or Project Management formal education. 
•    Systems knowledge: JIRA, KOLA, IMPACT, ARGUS, EDB, VDB, VDA, LVD, UCHP
•    Electromobility background
