Northvolt’s mission is to build the world’s greenest battery with a minimal carbon footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling, to enable the European transition to renewable energy. Recovery and effective recycling of end-of-life batteries is key to closing the loop on batteries.
We are now looking for a Lead Project Planner to join our passionate team.
The Lead Project Planner has several years of experience in project planning in complex EPC projects and good knowledge of market leading planning tools. As a Lead Project Planner you will lead the planning team and work on developing and maintaining time schedules in Primavera P6, covering design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
You will be working closely with internal stakeholders, our engineering and construction contractors and also our customers. The environment has very high demands on flexibility and strategic thinking. In general you have a long experience in EPC projects and are able to lead and influence others to achieve Northvolt goals. You have been driving large, innovative and challenging projects with very high demand on accuracy.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build and lead the project’s planning team
Oversee the development, management and maintenance of the overall integrated time plan for Northvolt, covering the engineering/design, procurement, construction and commissioning project phases.
Effectively communicate the schedule to a wide variety of audiences at different levels of seniority.
Be strategic but also willing to get hands-on
Implement Northvolt’s standardised ways of working (WBS, templates, procedures) both internally and with consultants, contractors and suppliers
Lead the production of necessary monthly, bi-weekly and weekly schedule reporting to monitor project progress and plan to completion
Run and manage site-wide scheduling coordination and interfaces, both internally as well as externally with consultants, contractors and suppliers

We believe that you have:
6+ years working experience in project planning/management in complex mega EPC projects
Excellent communicator, can summarise and present schedule to top management
Can successfully use planning tool to do forecast, risk management and guide management to make decisions.
Have experience in very fast paced, dynamic working environments
Have experience in project scope including civils, mechanical and electrical, process, clean/dry room environments
Very good knowledge of Primavera P6
Ability to lead, influence and train contractors
Good knowledge in Power BI, BIM, MSP, and other project management tools
Curious, technically educated and with a strong business background
Great English written and oral skills
A degree in Engineering/MSc or MBA/Relevant University Degree
