Lead QA Engineer

We are now looking for a Lead QA Test Engineer to join our Clearing Product Team. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs; our technology must be real-time, robust and able to keep up with even the most demanding market conditions.

As a Lead QA Test Engineer you will join a highly qualified cross-functional scrum team consisting of Business Analysts, Software Developers, Test Engineers, and Project Managers. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring the quality of our product and delivering client success.
Your role and responsibilities:
Create, execute and maintain tests according to test scripts and test plans
Manual and automated test execution
Review system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, and debug software solutions
Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
Report issues found back to developers in the team
Give continuous feedback to other testers, architects, developers, as well as project managers
Ensure that software meets specified standards, development specifications, and client requirements
Plan test scenariosto ensure that applicable tests are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution
We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Several years of hands-on experience in software testing
Knowledge in agile test approaches and the software development life cycle
Ability to create and contribute to documenting test strategy, test plan and test cases
Experience creating defect reports and documenting test results
Experience working with Linux commands, databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Java and tools such as JIRA, Teamcity, and GIT
The ability to work with multiple ongoing projects, motivate and guide the team, delegate responsibilities and set timelines
The ability to travel to provide onsite customer support during UAT
It would be great if you have:
Dev Ops or CI/CD experience
Clearing, trading, or risk experience
Interest and/or experience from working in theFinTechindustry
