What´s in it for you?
You will join the Recruitment team of Volvo Car Kosice Project within Manufacturing at Volvo Cars. The project will deliver our new state-of-the-art electric car plant in Kosice, Slovakia. The project team is responsible of engineering, construction, building, installation and preparation of the complete operation to enable a perfect vehicle launch in 2026. The Volvo Car Kosice Project have highly set targets and a challenging timeplan. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision of volume growth and taking one step further towards our ideal manufacturing & logistics set-up.

What you´ll do
As a Lead Recruiter, you will proactively meet with business leaders, as well as Recruitment Managers to determine hiring roadmap of respective business unit(s). You are to utilizes talent insights to influence recruiting team strategy in close partnership with the sourcing team. You will be accountable as an influential partner for a complex business area or a strategic competence area. You will drive strategic prioritization well as driving potential succession planning needs for key roles. You will lead diverse hiring initiatives as well as cultivate relationships with internal organizations relevant to their business area needs.
You are to provide hands-on mentorship across the Talent Acquisition organization to support individual development in line with the career framework. You will lead collaboration with PX Partners & Finance partners to build process improvements for operational effectiveness based on data, beliefs and insights. You will stay ahead of the curve on the latest trends and any changes happening within their area of domain expertise.
This role is also responsible for the full life cycle recruitment accountability. You will act as an advisor, partner with Hiring Managers to support current and future needs and ensure a full understanding of their recruitment needs. You will build and maintain a pool of key talents and engage with them continuously to secure candidate involvement and a strong pipeline for upcoming recruitments. Your responsibilities will include attracting the right talent globally by proactively sourcing, searching and connecting with people around the world. Also, you will ensure that we hire top talent whose values are in line with our Volvo Cars Culture by screening, interviewing and conducting psychometric tests.
You will initiate and drive change projects to support Talent Acquisition organization development and will be responsible for strategic level recruitment and can deliver both sourcing and full cycle recruiting tasks within difficult to find competencies or complex business areas.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you have a University degree in HR or equivalent. We expect you to have extensive and comprehensive experience in recruitment/search with tech/digital. You should bring experience from proactive search and it is a plus if you have worked in a global environment. As a global organziation our business language is in english, so being fluent in English, both verbally and written is critical.
You have a deep understanding of the Talent Acquisition philosophy/strategy which facilitates ability to define and measure projects that will have the greatest impact. You can influence within the Talent Acquisition organization and their business partners to get others on-board and bring ideas alive.
You can develop others by providing frequent feedback with honesty and empathy. You can coach more junior team members towards success. You can focus on delivery for a complex business area while understanding the broader Talent Acquisition scope to identify creative opportunities.
