In this role you will be part of Volvo Trucks Digital & IT and based in Digital Business Partner team. We are a team of senior, creative, engaged, curious and driven people who values new ideas and prestige-less collaboration across our global organization. Our mission is to build digital roadmaps, investment plans and make sure we kick off the initiatives needed to enable Volvo Trucks strategy.


The role
We offer you a role where you will collaborate with skilled and passionate colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams to innovate, design, prototype and build premium digital products, services and solutions for our customers. You facilitate and support scope setting and prioritization activities and strive to secure value through design thinking, human-centric ways of working and effective process and interaction facilitation.

As Lead Service Designer you work across a wide range of areas, including industry trends analysis, business models and value propositions, future concepts and roadmaps, business cases and outcome definitions, customer/user research and analysis, customer experience and process facilitation. Visual communication and storytelling are also key to package and communicate findings, insights and data in a clear and impactful way.

We see that you have a strong business acumen and customer focus, and a keen interest in the transportation industry. Your curiosity drives you to explore differences in perspectives, thoughts and people, and you are willing to pursue a deep understanding and continuous learning.

Collaborating with others to meet shared objectives is something you enjoy. You are a team player, motivating and supporting others come naturally to you, but you are also able to work independently. You are structured, and feel comfortable with stakeholder management, organizational change management and change process facilitation.

Furthermore, you will of course have a great understanding of human-centered design and Service Design methodologies and the process from research to development. We believe you have knowledge of facilitation tools and methods, experience with planning, conducting and/or analyzing customer research and the ability to see patterns in complex information.

As you will be working in an international setting, it is important that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

You have a degree related to service design and behavioral science discipline or innovation/business management. At least 5 years of relevant experience, a great leadership to guide and mature us in the area of service design and we expect you to have great communication, facilitating and presentation skills.
