We are currently recruiting for a Lead Service Manager to our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. The purpose of the position is to manage supplier relations in the process area and to lead and coach the guild of service mangers in collaboration with delivery teams and procurement, monitoring service levels including incidents and developing effective ways of working with relevant suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
Manages relations with suppliers in area and drives governance for suppliers.
Responsible for measuring, capturing feedback, evaluating and improving quality & performance of services including ways of working.
Facilitates dialogue with delivery teams, procurement and other internal stakeholders relating to suppliers and supplier agreements. Supports in negotiations.
Drives & develops action plans with suppliers & partners resolving issues.
Monitors license portfolio and facilitates license discussions.
Secures smooth transition from development into operations securing fulfillment of all necessary requirements & documents.
Lead and mentor Service Managers within the other process areas as a Guild lead for Service Managers including:
Actively monitors and identifies new relevant intelligence, best practice and knowledge within area
Drives and facilitates competence development and knowledge sharing within area
Supports in assessing capabilities (internal & external) within area
Owns and develops training modules within area
Owns key systems, processes and templates used within Service Management area
Key Decisions:
Sole decisions
Decisions relating to monitoring and tracking of service levels and suppliers.
Shared decisions
Relevant response to problems and incident management with action plans aligned with Solution Delivery Leads.
Choice of suppliers including negotiations and contracts with suppliers aligned with IT-Directors and Procurement.
Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience :
Masters degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or Business degree with relevant work experience.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience; Minimum of 3 years working with monitoring and management of suppliers in IT.
Strong negotiation skills
Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
Documented experience from applying digital technology creating business effect.
Technical understanding of relevant platforms & technologies.
Demonstrated business acumen and relevant experience of business, customers and/or functional area.
Ability to gain understanding of customers’ business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations.
