Lead System Verification Engineer

LEAD SYSTEM VERIFICATION ENGINGEER AT VOLVO BUSES

We are now looking to recruit the right person to head our development within test & verification environments, automated regression tests and continuous integration and deployment of software.


JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be part of a small team of around six people that has the shared responsibility to develop and maintain the test environments, rigs and system needed for our software development process. The systems will be used to test both in-house developed software as well as integration of software from our suppliers, mainly from our friends at GTT. The team is also responsible to secure long term stable and continuous integration of software towards test vehicles as well as deployment to production and service market.
Your area of responsibility will be to plan, structure and execute the work needed to support the systems and environments that enables development of next generation electrical architecture at Volvo bus. Creating roadmaps and aligning plans with different areas both within Volvo Bus & Volvo Group as well as developing our test environments and riggs. There is room for taking on different responsibilities as well, depending on your own skills and personality.
Since we are a smaller company, we all work with broad responsibilities and cross-functionally through the entire company, across many different departments and competence areas. This position will be no different, mixing different types of work and coordinating yours and the teams deliveries with the rest of the development teams here at buses will be important.

THIS PROBABLY DEFINES YOU
It would be meriting but not necessary to have earlier experience within Volvo Group, working with TEA2+ and bridge plan development.
You have several years of experience in leading and participating in teams and development networks, coordinating work across different competences to ensure the end delivery is the best compromise. We think that you have a MSc degree in mechatronics/electrical/software engineering or equivalent, are great at communication and networking, solution focused and eager to learn and work with your own development. Experience in coding and developing test environments, building test rigs and performing verification on automotive software are also required.
