Lead Systems Engineer to Substations

You will be part of Substations in Västerås. The business unit designs and delivers complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. Our turnkey substation projects mainly comprise high and medium voltage apparatuses, transformers, protection and control systems, auxiliary power systems as well as construction and erection work. Substations in Västerås, Ludvika, Norrköping and Göteborg has approximately 200 employees.

Arbetsuppgifter:
You are responsible for the complete technical solutions of our projects. You will have an overall view of the technologies that project utilizes, and ensure that these function efficiently together. The solutions are based on customer specifications or your expertise. In this role, it is crucial that you can apply a holistic view and develop concepts according to technical and environmental requirements for sustainability. The responsibilities include developing concepts and electric system data as well as selecting high voltage apparatuses, relay and control equipment. You will be a unifying link between our customers and suppliers in technical issues concerning everything from tenders and orders. Our close collaboration also means that you will visit customers on-site, which will contribute to your profound understanding and insight into their business. The office in Västerås is characterized by an international work environment, where you will gain a large network and interesting tasks that are both challenging and developing.

Krav:
You are an Electrical Engineer with a broad knowledge of electrical power systems. You have at least a Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Knowledge in relay protection, plant operation or high-voltage apparatus for 1-800kV is required. You master English fluently, in writing and speach, while Russian is additional merit. You are a social, goal-oriented and responsible person who enjoys frequent internal and external contacts. You have the ability to grasp the overall picture as well as its crucial details; you are able to structure and prioritize in an effective manner.
