Nordex Sweden are now expanding the team at Hocksjön, Ramsele service point, and we are looking for a Lead Technician. Working as part of the Nordex Service Nordic team the Lead Technician shall be responsible for repair and maintenance of the wind turbines on his area. Lead Technician coordinates a team of service technicians to ensure the completion of their allocated service tasks within the specified time frames and to the required standards. Lead Technician reports to the LOM on all operative tasks at site ensuring the turbines are maintained to the highest standard and meet the contractual availability for the wind farm.
YOUR TASKS
Responsible for availability and performance of Wind Farms in his area
Daily on-site planning and coordination of work
Analyze defects with support of Technical Back Office
Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities
Carry out complex repairs with support from Technical Back Office
Implementing retrofits and clearing snag list from customer inspections
Check and report inventory of service van tools, electrical measurement
tools and hydraulic tools
Support LOM in annual performance review of technicians
Control and ensure accurate inventory stock
Ensure the on-site quality & HSE
Update Man On Turbine status
Responsible for Toolbox talks
Responsible for Subcontractor auditing and control of subcontractors at
site (work quality and HSE)
Check that statutory inspections are done
Ensure Electrical Safety Report to be carried our when needed
Encourage safety observation culture among team members
Responsible for Service Point tidiness and 5S
Responsible for complete, correct and timely reporting
Maintenance reporting
ADM/ART reporting
HSE reporting
Day to Day customer interface
On the job training of new Service Technicians
Further Service related tasks
YOUR PROFILE
Experience in coordinating a team
At least 2 years’ experience working as a Service Technician
Health and Safety awareness
Electrical education on vocational or higher level
Driving License
Qualified to a recognized level
Computer literate, able to use MS Office and SAP and in house database and workload management systems
