There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the Cooling system, EUF​, Simulation & Testing team as a Lead Test Engineer for systems and functions at the intersection between Powertrain and Vehicle.

The team performs System Architecture and develops the End User Functions of the cooling system and also performs advanced Simulation and Testing together with component owners and system owners, with the aim to understand and enhance customer features. The team´s main goal is to sustain and strengthen our leading position on heavy duty trucks around the globe.

Position Summary
As a Lead Test Engineer you will be directly involved in the development work of our products and involved in a wide range of analysis and verification assignments. You will have the opportunity to participate in, or drive advanced technology development.
You will work in a test environment that stretches from test rigs of different complexity up to complete vehicle level.
You will play an important role in the technology shift towards more environmentally-friendly trucks using electric drivetrains.


As a Lead Test Engineer you will secure, maintain and develop the area with the end customer in focus. You will perform testing in tight collaboration with our design and system engineers.
You will play an important role, not only by leading the test development and strategy, you will also act as a role model to secure a solid quality mindset throughout the organization. Some of your other key responsibilities will be to:
Identify verification needs for existing and new technologies
Develop and improve test codes and methods
Manage networking across the organization, as well as influencing the work in other sites
Manage, plan, prepare and execute tests. Analyze, report and document results

You will be the Go-To person, a Technical expert within an area or broad competence in many, train and mentor less experienced, manage network across the organization.


As part of a testing team, you share with peers your progresses and target to maximize the collective output

Preferred Skills
We believe that you have M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent
We want you to have at least five years of testing experience within automotive industry
Truck Driver’s licence (CE)
Experience of product development within automotive industry
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
