Lead Verification Leader

Position Description
Here is an opportunity as a Lead Verification Leader to be involved and to influence current and future cab development and to become part of a fantastic team with great competence and forward spirit.
You will work with our physical cab masters and be responsible for a geometry area of the cab.
We work in an Agile context, and we work as a global team with the different sites and commodities around the globe. Working in this international environment is an exciting challenge and you will interact with a lot of people coming from different functions in the company.


Cab engineering faces major challenges and you as a verification leader will be involved in the product development with major focus on the physical phase everything from early mock-ups to production part verification.
A big part of the work will also be to contribute and support engineers in solving quality issues both using our master cabs or hands on in our production plants.


Task and Responsibilities
As a verification leader you will manage and lead the physical verification in your area of the cab this means that you plan, prepare and lead the verification activity, the verification is often a truly cross functional activity with responsible representatives from many different functions.
The responsibility vary depending in which phase of the project we do the verification but in general it is to:
Order and plan the material, verify the material structure including fasteners in KOLA, assembly sequence and maintainability, torque and access control, evaluation of tools and fixtures, writing PIL reports in connection to the verification.
Another part of the responsibility will be to arrange clinics for suppliers, product design and other using our master cabs.

Competence and Skills
I'm looking for you who have an MSc degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience. You have worked several years in the truck industry and have a solid experience preferably from production or product development. You have a solid experience of early to late phases in project work, experience from truck development or production is a qualifier.
You need to have a willingness to learn several new software and systems and you need to be able to use some visualization tools.
Passion for trucks and people is also needed and you need to be able to do some assembly work to prepare the test objects.
You should enjoy working in a flexible team. Be able to change focus depending on the situation. Working in networks is a part of our daily work. You should take initiatives and make decisions based on knowledge and facts.
