We are now looking for a Leader, Build Readiness!

 

Description

Concept & Prototype Operations is responsible to deliver all styling and development hardware (test units), for testing and validation to the projects until serial process is in place.

 

In the role Leader Build Readiness, you are a part of the team Vehicle Integration Validation & Testing Unit and will work with plan- and preparing, manufacturing of development hardware. You will also lead the build activities.

 

The role as Leader, Build Readiness involves:

- Follow up project activities, development hardware quantities, specifications and part BOM status
- Follow up parts status during the development and procurement phase prior build.
- Hardware build planning
- Coordinate internal manufacturing of parts and communicate deliveries
- Lead build activities and communicate build planning and build status to project leader
- Update part BOM during hardware build
- Resource volume planning for build activities together with other departments within the company
- Support the unit with other necessary activities

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Relevant engineering and vehicle manufacturing experience
- Senior High School degree.
- Good knowledge from vehicle parts and partlists
- Good MS Office skills
- Hands-on- and theoretical knowledge and experience in manufacturing
- Driver license B

 

To be successful in this role, you need to have:

- Be pro-active, flexible, solution-oriented, and be able to work independently under extreme stressful conditions.
- Experience to act in front of big audience.
- Communicative and well organized person.
- Very Good automotive industry knowledge.
- Be able to cooperate with other people in a successful way
- Have customer focus
- Have a talent for functional and technical thinking
- Be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
