We are transforming
At Telenor we are accelerating our digital transformation. In the Fixed and Mobile Convergence Tribe, we are building a new, modern and fast-paced software development organization with a mission to transform our core and build a world class business support system to support smooth customer journeys.
What you’ll do
As a leader you will be responsible for the people and vendor engagement within FMC Tribe. You ensure that we have the best people and the right knowledge to deliver and maintain a world class BSS system enabling FMC, digital customer interactions, automated internal processes and a rapid product development. You will work in a close dialogue with Product Owners and other departments within our IT-division.
As our leader you will be responsible for up to three development squads, consisting of up to 15-20 people. All teams
work in a full agile and cross-functional setup. You need to be passionate about people – recruiting, developing and shaping the team as well as driving a cultural shift from being reactively accepting requirements to actively engage in the team mission.
Moreover, you’ll work closely with your squads to ensure our vendors are performing up to our expectations, resolvent of any impediments that hinder the development of our systems as well as budget -and personnel responsibility.
Who are you
To be successful in this role we believe that you have experience within software development and that you are used to work in an Agile Environment. Ideally you have a developer background with solid technical competence in a java based microservice based environment, where APIs are the product. You have strong communication skills and you like to challenge yourself and your colleagues. You strive to improve and find new ways of work.
We believe you are a person that makes an impact, easily engage people and help setting clear directions for a team. You know what a servant leader means, and you act as an ambassador for the organization of how to coach and develop the team. You are great at communication, change management but also business driven. You feel accountable for the work done and you take pride in challenging and changing the status quo. You dare to speak up when necessary and actively seek input and feedback to improve further. We believe that you are skilled in stakeholder management and that you are great in building a big network within the organization.
