THIS IS WHAT WE OFFER
As a Leader for the Quality Action Group, you will hold a strategic and important role belonging to the department Quality and Customer Satisfaction, Complete Vehicle within Group Trucks Technology.
You will report to Manager of Product Quality Complete Vehicle, Quality & Customer Satisfaction GOT. During launch of Volvo Heavy Duty Electric Trucks, you will be a member of the Project Management Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will lead and drive the Quality Action Group (QAG) to secure the customer satisfaction at launch. QAG is a dedicated taskforce to drive quality to target on new vehicles and as a leader you will assure that customer quality expectations are met.
The purpose of the QAG is to:
Protect our customer from quality issue at product introduction.
Have an early detection of infant quality issues to minimize impact on the field.
Coordinate resolution between project and maintenance.
Visualize and report the quality result of each product introduction.
The Quality Action Group is a cross-functional team supporting the customers and dealer network during the introduction phase of new Products and modifications in market. You will act as a liaison between the Project teams and the Product Quality Leaders (PQL). Supporting the PQLs to be quicker to identify emerging quality issues early in the life of the product and facilitate that actions are taken by responsible product owner as soon as possible to minimize customer impact. Assessing and reporting product quality status to the Field Quality Meetings (FQM). Securing escalation within FQM through the right PQL.
You will also monitor and report the status to stakeholders such as management, steering committees, and the Volvo Truck brand.

Required Qualifications
Education:
Master or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent technical university degree
Experience - Work:
>3 years of technical work in relevant areas
Proven leadership in technology and people or in projects and project management
Proven ability in communication, adjusting content and style to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders
Experience in vehicles development and vehicles product know-how
Experience in operating effectively even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear
Technical skills:
Strong knowledge in database and data visualization applications such as Excel and Power BI.
Product and system/application knowledge
Knowledge in relevant Volvo processes: Analyze and Solve Customer Product Issues (CPI), Agile work method.
Good Customer and Market application understanding.
Knowledge in Systems: JIRA, KOLA, IMPACT, ARGUS, QRAFT, FQA, EDB, VDB, VDA, LVD, UCHP.
