Leadership potentials with IT background for IKEA Management Programme in Sweden, IKEA IT Älmhult or Helsingborg

Are you ready to take the next step in your leadership career? Do you have passion for home furnishing? Then this could be the right challenge for you. IKEA in Sweden is looking for future IKEA managers.

During the 13-month IKEA Management Programme you will get to know IKEA from every perspective through training and hands-on involvement in a assignment at IKEA IT in Sweden. You will start your training at one of our IKEA stores in August 2014. From September onwards you will be given your assignment. You will learn about Leadership at IKEA ? from the global home furnishing business and the supply process to the meeting with the customer in the IKEA store. You will also work with your personal development to find your next step at IKEA. Throughout the 13-month programme you will have a supervisor to guide you through your assignment and a mentor who will support, advice and challenge you. You will in the end of the programme have access to a professional coach.

To be a successful candidate you need:
-to be willing to relocate within Sweden, and possibly abroad in the future
-a strong interest in making a leadership career at IKEA
-a university degree within IT or equivalent knowledge
-at least 1 year of coherent working experience
-to have started your career as a leader in some way. Maybe you have already worked as a manager for a couple of years, or you have practised leadership through e.g. voluntary commitments or in student organisations.
-fluency in English
