Who are we? What do we work with?
We are a team of skilled engineers that work with chassis components and installation. We work in an enthusiastic atmosphere where joy, team spirit and trust are key characteristics.
Our team develops, secures and verifies chassis components & installations and simulation in the areas of durability. Furthermore, we provide methods and tools for our areas of expertise. We have a close co-operation with the other engineering teams and test departments.
We belong to the Chassis Department within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Our team is responsible for product updates of Volvo heavy duty range as FM/FH of chassis components and installation. We carry out our work in all stages of product development: Complete Vehicle Projects, Product Maintenance, Advanced Engineering and Component Projects.


What will you work with?
As Analyst at Volvo Group you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of our future products where we have many exciting challenges ahead.
In this position you will influence in the development work of chassis components and installations. You will work in tight collaboration with the design engineers within our team, with other analysts and test engineers locally and globally. In vehicle projects, you will have an important role in dimensioning of components and installations. In other words – your mission is to evaluate, support and assure that our future vehicles are as good as possible.


Who are you?
We are searching for a person that is passionate to work with structural analysis! To be successful in this role we believe that you have good abilities to analyze results and develop improvements combined with a curious, creative and communicative mindset. You also need to be equipped with a positive attitude and enjoy working in international cross-functional and multi-cultural teams. Having knowledge on our products and durability analysis is a merit. You will work in close cross-functional cooperation in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external contacts such as our different development sites around the world.


Requirements
Master degree in physics, engineering or equivalent with an orientation towards analysis
Experience from structural analysis and related methods and tools as well as signal processing is a merit
Experience from product data management systems is meriting
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Experience from fatigue analysis and optimization is a merit
Main tools used are NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANSA/Metapost and CVM (in house tool)
