Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
We are looking for a talented generalist with key competencies in PMO processes and Lean-Agile portfolio governance – we bet you are the one!
As such, you will be working in the department Finance Way and Innovation Office, which is our centre of excellence for business strategy, transformation, change & communication, and portfolio management incl. PMO processes. This is our transformation muscle of the global Finance Community and right now there are a lot of cool things happening at Finance, as we are in the midst of setting off our large business transformation program – Finance 2025, which also includes setting off standard financial processes and a standard ERP system solution (SAP).
We are looking for an ambitious Lean-Agile Portfolio Manager, who will be part of the PMO in the department Finance Way and Innovation office as well as working the Finance 2025-PMO in our Business Finance Transformation Program, which is sponsored by Scania’s CFO.
If you have a will to take part in making our PMO spark as well as continue to develop our lean-agile portfolio governance with for example big room planning (PI-events) and other cross collaboration activities – you are the one we are looking for!
Your role
To succeed in this role you are a senior project management professional with the drive, ambition, and an eye for what senior and top management need and want, even before they know it themselves. You have a pragmatic and situation-based approach and a large portion of “gut-feeling” combined with self-confidence. You are gifted in agile project management processes and how to make them work in large high-profile programs.
Tasks in this context can typically be exemplified with:
• Lean-Agile Portfolio Governance
• Be the orchestrator of the Finance governance system, which includes overseeing topics and decks to be presented at senior management decision forums, an overview of investments in the development portfolio, and coaching senior Process Owners
• Drive, orchestrate and further develop our quarterly big room planning events (PI-events)
• Maintain and develop our process governance systems approach based on Lean-Agile principles
• PMO
• As a PMO member, you will oversee that all PMO processes function e.g. risk management, issue management, and scope management both within the program as well as to the Strategic Steering Committee
• Contribute in the communication and change arena, this includes orchestrating digital as well as on-site events or just simply see to that the information is transparent and understandable in the program
• You will guide and coach a lot of colleagues in the program in PMO processes
Who are you?
You are a team player, who has a passion for cross-collaboration and can dig in, both in operational tasks and simultaneously have a strong strategic mindset. You are motivated by complexity and to make it understandable and simplified to your stakeholders or peers in the program. All in all, as the senior professional you are, you know what it takes to contribute to a high-profile program in an international environment in terms of drive, coordination/anchoring, the different cultural approaches, and communication both with C-level and peers.
Your background may vary, but most importantly you have a great passion for PMO processes, governance, change, finance and the people approach.
