Repligen is growing very fast and we need to strengthen our Lean and Continuous improvement organisation with a dedicated role at our site in Lund. Do you want to lead the implementation of Repligens Performance System (RPS) and help us continuously improve how we deliver critical raw materials to the biopharmaceutical industry?

Repligen Sweden is a wholly owned subsidiary of Repligen Corporation (USA), which supplies products and strategic services in the Life Science or Biotechnology pharmaceutical industry. Our facility is located in St: Lars park in Lund where we have modern production and laboratory premises. Your role
As a part of our global Continuous improvement organisation you will be responsible to facilitate implementation of Repligen Performance System (RPS) elements, primarily at our Lund site. Your role is a key component for driving cultural change through molding the continuous improvement and root cause problem solving mindset of the organisation. You will lead and develop teams in value stream mapping, the lean leadership model and kaizen events to grow capability in the organization and meet the performance objectives. While re-installing the lean culture at our Lund site you will have to be heavily engaged in various projects. Since Repligen Sweden is working according to GMP it’s important to recognise the procedures and timelines associated with this regulated environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Lead/work with functional teams to streamline processes to improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth and become more efficient.
Diplomatically cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve KPIs, in the areas of customer, finance, people and quality.
Provide support to develop problem solving capability within the organization at all levels.
Train, coach and follow-up with teams to ensure system improvements are sustained and the stakeholders are running the processes independently.
Work closely with business leadership to accelerate the culture change necessary to support the Repligen Performance System.
Provide ongoing support to multiple teams.
Help teams identify new projects through value stream mapping, data analysis and daily management systems.
Locally coordinate and maintain a funnel of projects to meet productivity goals
Work with the global team to develop/promote/standardize the Repligen Performance System further.

You will report to Vice President Operations, based in US, and have a dotted line to Vice President European Operations, based in Lund. This position will not have any direct reports, but will work closely with Lean Ambassadors on site, who dedicate part of their time to Lean work activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations or business.
5+ years’ Lean Practitioner experience and a ‘hands-on’ track record of implementing successful Toyota Production System / lean fundamentals including elements such as:
Visual management/5S, value stream mapping, standard work, metric boards, stand-up meetings and project funnel coordination.
Expertise in problem-solving utilizing a formal program/process.
Proven track record for developing, training, and coaching teams.
Broad knowledge of multi-functional processes and financial business methods.

A holistic and flexible thinker who can look enterprise-wide to integrate and streamline systems.
Ability to drive strategic thinking and continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas.
Passion for driving improvement and leading change in a complex, global environment.
Good and transparent communicator, including solid written, oral and presentation-giving skills in Swedish and English.
High ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct.
Leadership roles from disciplines such as operations, engineering, quality, or product management.
