Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Northvolt is now looking for a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join the team!
The Lead Manufacturing Enginner will lead and participate in the development and training of Northvolt Production Systems and related methodologies and standards.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Responsible for coordination of Northvolt Production System with other plants and central
functions, leading this development
· Responsible for training and creation of training material for general Lean training, training in
Northvolt Production System, Value Stream Mapping and follow-up of knowledge levels
· Establish work measurement programs and analyse work samples to develop labour utilization
standards.
· Develop collective lean toolbox, i.e. 5S, SMED, Takt, Kanban and flow etc and assure
instruments are available to lean project participants.
· Develop standard work principles and ensure high level of understanding and implementation, e.g., SOPs/Wis, processes, one-point lessons etc
· Lead assigned projects
· Develop and deploy workload model
· Responsible for the cost saving activities in the defined area
· Drive the OEE culture in the production area
Requirements:
Qualifications/education/experience
· Relevant University grade a plus but can be replaced by industry experience
· 3+ years of relevant industry experience
· Ability and interest in helping others grow
· Interest in machine and production line development
· Avid reader and constant learner
· Data driven problem solver
· Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing
