We are looking for an expert who can take responsibility for Scania Academy’s core competence area - Learning and Pedagogics.
Learning & Competence Management is commissioned to work with customers from all of Scania's operations globally and is currently in an interesting development phase. We are responsible for process development, methods and tools as well as providing consultation services within learning and competence management.
To meet the increased demand for support within learning and competence management within the company, we have established an expert function where the Learning & Competence Manager is a key position. Today the group consist of Learning and Competence managers and project coordinators in total of six team members. The person we are looking for will be responsible for Scania Academy's own competence areas Learning and Pedagogics, as well as the training of internal trainers and competence developers within the company.
Tasks
Responsible for the competence area of Pedagogics, Learning and Competence Management
Develop and maintain role descriptions and define competencies
Responsible for programs and courses such as the Scania Trainer Development Program (TDP)
Master Trainer for the TDP
Establish and lead Scania TDP trainer pool and other forums for internal trainers within the company
Act as an expert consultant and coach in pedagogics, learning and competence management
Develop methods and tools for learning and competence management
Run development and improvement projects within the subject area
Promote and coach best practices within modern workplace learning and Competence Management
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a great interest in learning and pedagogy. You are driven by contributing to peoples’ development and are a good pedagogue with extensive experience as a trainer and coach. You have a consultative and responsive approach and are good at translating needs into clear goals and deliveries. You enjoy working independently, as well as in teams and you have experience in managing and leading change. You have experience in managing both large and small projects and you are good at facilitating meetings and workshops.
We prefer that you have/are:
University degree or equivalent
Several years of experience of teaching, pedagogics and competence development in an enterprise
Well versed in the theories within the areas of learning, pedagogics and competence management
Experience of managing large and small projects
Knowledge and experience in the development of training and other forms of learning activities
Knowledge and experience of modern methods and tools for learning
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Basic knowledge in Swedish is appreciated
