The role:
We seek a dedicated & proactive Digital Learning Capabilities Specialist to join our Learning Capabilities team at Volvo Cars. The team is responsible for delivering effective learning and performance improvement interventions to over 60,000 people across our global partner network, covering technical, brand, product, and commercial content.
We are looking for a professional that will shape our approach to digital learning. You will manage the development of the digital learning experience, supporting the management and evolution of key digital learning infrastructure. In addition, you will be a key interface with the Learning Solutions team, supporting and working on digital learning activities across multiple channels. This role will mean continuous interaction with multiple stakeholders within the organization as well as external partners. One key responsibility is to define level of integration in the L&D digital ecosystem to provide an effortless learning environment.

Role Purpose:
* Lead and shape our technical approach to digital learning and maintain the digital learning ecosystem/toolbox with the insight of industry trends
* Drive and support the integration of digital solutions as part of learning strategy implementation including SSO functionality
* Global rollout and implementation management of identified solutions including testing, maintenance, and training
* Define and apply effective digital learning tools strategy enabling “mass personalization” of learning
* LXP and other digital solutions SME including quality testing, support global admin in some admin role/helpdesk tasks, securing daily operations of global consumer facing personnel (retailers/ agents/ customer care/ inside sales) including training
* Key role in the migration from legacy systems to Thrive Learning LXP with a global scale perspective
* AI supported translation process
* Lead and collaborate with key stakeholders in selection of a CMS and Ticket management system with target to be live in 2024

* Having in depth understanding of digital learning landscape and applications

* Deep LXP experience, Thrive learning or similar platform

About you:
We are looking for YOU with a few years of experience in L&D digital solutions and with a strong understanding of IT principles. You have a high level of integrity and professionalism and are keen to take ownership in your areas of expertise. You are structured and result oriented and have a strong personal drive to get things done to a high quality, efficiently and on time. You are comfortable working independently but at the same time you have cross-functional and integrated work experience, with the ability to cooperate and work in an international team environment. Strong prioritization skills will be an asset in this role, as well as finding new and innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction and deliver effective solutions in challenging situations.
