To succeed in the role, we believe that you have:
• A substantial professional background within in shopping center and/or retail leasing, preferably coming from working in international organisations.
• Experience in business development, finding of new business opportunities including identification and implementation.
• Knowledge within the retail and/or real-estate industry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial position.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
Ingka Centres is in the middle of an exciting journey where we create and develop Meeting Places, into something that exceeds our visitor’s expectations! As our Lease Category Manager, you will have a key function in this journey, where you will be identifying and communicating the trends and facilitating the development of strong partnerships with vital players on a global level. Together we create sustainable and maximised revenues, based on the offer defined by the Meeting Places and aligned with customer and market needs.
In this role you will be able to combine the global responsibility in driving the category with your geographical assignment, where you have the responsibility over a group of countries in Europe. You will have a senior role, being accountable for coaching and advising leasing teams, managing key tenants and the overall result for your area.
Moreover, you will:
• Coordinate the strategies for your category with the overall leasing direction.
• Secure that established goals for rental income for assigned Hub and category are delivered.
• Lead strategic negotiations with key partners though close coordination with leasing teams to achieve excellence in deal making.
• Align the messages towards partners through all communication channels, aiming to improve cooperation, partners experience and increase future revenue.
• Closely cooperate with other areas to trigger new potential partnerships and initiatives within the category, potentially involving existing or new partners.
• Collaborate with Meeting Places on defining key account management developments and intended portfolio deals.
• Work with expansion and development team to bring Leasing expertize to new and redevelopment projects.
• Build strong cooperation with IKEA Retail at country level, promoting the exchange of information and market knowledge.

The purpose of the Operations function, where leasing belongs to, is to optimise the Meeting Place experience for the many people and deliver sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places. Moreover to, achieve operational results, drive efficiency improvements and enhance commercial performance and brand value of the Meeting Places.
