Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Project Management

We are looking to reinforce our team involved in the successful Master-level programme Project Management. The project management field attracts students in many disciplines as well as professional people in different areas. The programme enjoys a good reputation and has a profile of high quality education and professional relevance. It has an emphasis on projects in professional organisations generally rather than in a specific branch of work. We are interested in organisation theory as well as the behavioural issues related to projects in the workplace. At present, research in the field is growing in the department and reinforcing the Master's programme is a part of the expansion. The duties of the post primarily involve master's programme development and teaching. It is essential that candidates have experience of and enjoy teaching. At present, courses are in Swedish but the number of courses taught in English will increase in the near future. Non-native speakers of English must be prepared to actively develop English language skills. Requirements The requirements for appointment as lecturer( Sw. 'adjunkt') are *Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualifications *Training for teaching in higher education or equivalent qualifications *Documented teaching skills. The requirements for appointment as senior lecturer( Sw. 'lektor') are the same as those listed above for a lecturer, plus a PhD or equivalent academic qualifications or other professional skills of relevance to the content and duties of the post. Assessment grounds In the ranking of candidates, special consideration will be given to practical experience of project management. Special consideration will also be given to the candidate's personal qualities such as cooperation and administrative skills, power of initiative and ability to interact with society at large. The successful candidate is required to teach in a Scandinavian language and in English. Additional information The Department of Information Systems and Project Management consists of two main fields of study and is part of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Communication and IT. The Faculty conducts research and offers education at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels. The post is permanent (i.e. non-fixed term) employment with starting-date at the earliest convenience.
