Volvo Cars is in an expansion phase and are planning for several new buildings and major renovations globally. To support our vision of becoming climate neutral and fully circular by 2040, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification will be one very important piece of the puzzle. We also want to achieve a sustainable transition of all our owned and leased facilities globally and are working with a new real estate strategy where sustainability and attractiveness is to be on par with cost in all decisions regarding our existing and new building stock.
We are therefore seeking an experienced LEED and LCA (Lifecycle Analysis) expert to support our ambitions and realize our goals!

You will collaborate, support and advise, both internally and externally, in LEED work and possibly also run own smaller LEED projects. Sustainable construction is a new area for us at Volvo Cars and you will help us to develop strategies for climate optimization over the entire building lifecycle.
Above being responsible for driving and supporting regarding LEED, your additional tasks will include relevant areas can be requirement setting and follow up connected to climate neutral constructions – spanning from early advisory, climate optimized building systems, circularity in buildings, material choices and similar.

Your skills:
We believe you have a university degree in a relevant area, e.g., construction, environment, engineer or similar and relevant work experience and you have certified LEED projects, preferably both industrial and office buildings. Knowledge in lifecycle cost analyzes, sustainability parameter coordination and optimization, re-use/circularity in buildings, climate neutral constructions, and climate and/or LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) calculations is meritorious.
