Vestas Northern Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland and the Baltics. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout these regions.

The Vestas Northern Europe Legal & Contracting department currently consist of 9 lawyers and one coordinator and is based in our offices in Sweden (Malmö), UK (Warrington), Poland (Warsaw) and Denmark (Videbæk). The department advises the Vestas Northern European region on most contractual and legal matters, including insurance and compliance matters.

Now, we are looking for a commercially oriented qualified lawyer to act as legal adviser in respect of transaction work with direct contact to our valued customers. The position is based at Vestas Northern Europe?s headquarter in Malmö, Sweden, and will be primarily targeted on Swedish and Scandinavian matters, however this includes working closely with peers in other parts of the Vestas group in a truly international context.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities of the role:
Preparation and negotiation of large commercial and complex agreements
Providing commercially focused legal advice in relation to various commercial contracts and legal matters
Leading negotiations as an integral part of sales teams
Ensuring that agreements and practices are in compliance with the company?s commercial standards and policies
Contract management for construction and service matters

Qualifications
Of experience we expect the following:
Masters of Law in Swedish law (jur kand)
At least three years? experience as a legal adviser, as solicitor or in-house legal counsel
Experience in managing transactions is desirable
Experience in working with cross-border projects
Fluency in English and Swedish both orally and written
