About this opportunity:
Nasdaq’s award-winning legal group, which employs over 50 lawyers in offices in the U.S. and Europe, has a great opportunity for an experienced legal contract specialist to join our growing Legal Center of Excellence. You will redline, negotiate and provide guidance on a variety of commercial contracts while leveraging the latest technology to support Nasdaq’s innovative products and services. The role will work closely with Nasdaq's sales and business teams and other key stakeholders.
What you will do:
Support the intake of primarily sales-related contracting requests across the entire Nasdaq US organization.
Follow up with requestors as needed to ensure complete information.
Prepare initial drafts of contracts using templates.
Review third party paper to identify any deviations from Nasdaq’s policies and procedures, redline documents as appropriate.
Negotiate terms and conditions based on Nasdaq’s contract playbook and in conjunction with internal stakeholders.
Escalate agreements to legal counsel based on pre-defined criteria
Manage administration of contracts through the ability to track, analyse, aggregate, and report vital information.
Update the contract repository system.
Support continuous improvement of contracting processes and templates and training of sales team and other requestors
What we expect:
At least 3 years of experience in all aspects of the contracts life cycle.
University Studies related to Law.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English language, both written and spoken.
It Will Be Excellent If You Have:
Experience with contracts lifecycle management software and/or intake queuing systems.
Experience working for SaaS and/or international companies.
