Sobi is expanding the Legal function and is looking for a legal counsel to our head office in Stockholm. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an environment characterized by engagement, professionalism, fast pace and trustworthiness.
In this position you will be an essential and important resource to provide legal advice to the business on a wide range of matters, as an additional member of the Legal Affairs Department.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide legal advice to the business on a wide range of matters, primarily general commercial matters including collaborations, distribution agreements, consultancies, services and quality agreements
Draft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements, including R&D, purchase, healthcare compliance, sales and distribution
Develop templates and guidelines and provide training to internal clients
Liaise with external legal counsel
Qualifications:
Education/Work experience:
University Degree in Law, preferably in Sweden
3-5 years experience as a practicing lawyer on general commercial law and intellectual property rights
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is an advantage
Practical business and solution oriented approach
Strong commercial awareness to provide legal advice to diverse business functions
Ability to interface and communicate well with external parties, including outside counsel law firms as well as internal operational and management staff
Strong negotiation skills
Skills/Knowledge:
Fluency in written and spoken English
Other language skills is desired, especially Swedish, French and German
