Legal Counsel

WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
The Legal Team consists of experienced legal advisors with a deep understanding of Axis' business. We work as an integral part of the daily business - with great impact and in close collaboration with our stakeholders. We support the Axis Group globally in cooperation with external legal advisors. Currently the Team includes legal counsels, senior legal counsels, compliance specialists and one paralegal. Our goal is to support Axis' sustainable and successful growth through tailor-made, smart and strategic advice. Axis' Legal Team currently consists of 12 driven, professional and inclusive team members, all looking forward to meeting you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE
As Legal Counsel you will work both independently and in collaboration with your team members, contract managers and other colleagues within Axis. The job will offer you a global contact net and a variety of challenging work tasks on a cross-functional basis. This position requires a high degree of accountability, drive, and the ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence both within and outside of Axis. You will support the business with legal advice within a wide range of legal matters mainly within Operations (supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing and industrialization) and Information Systems/IT, focusing on license agreements, SaaS, cloud agreements and IT-tools, etc. You will report to Global Legal Director at HQ in Lund. Your work tasks will include:

* working proactively to assess and manage legal risks and provide advice to business stakeholders;
* drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts, such as purchase agreements, manufacturing- and tool agreements, license agreements, and various cloud service agreements;
* being part of the creation and communication of legal awareness education and trainings; and
* drafting and implementing improvements of template agreements, policies and other legal documents promoted by Axis Legal.

WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that you are a highly skilled, analytical and business oriented Legal Counsel who wants to work in an international environment with commercial legal questions. You are structured and efficient and can prioritize your work tasks independently. You have the ability to see the big picture and can communicate complex legal assessments and advice in a clear and simple way. As a person you lean forward and are motivated by high-pace work in a rapidly growing organization. You have integrity and respect for others, a sense of humor and you enjoy being a team-player.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

* a law degree (LL.M) from a Swedish University or equivalent;
* about 3-5 years' experience from working as in-house legal counsel or at a law firm;
* good knowledge and understanding of various areas of commercial law;
* strong competence and experience in working with commercial contracts, including specifically contracts related to operations (such as sourcing and manufacturing) and IT;
* a service minded and team-oriented approach;
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Swedish and English; and strong analytical and problem solving skills
