Legal Counsel

We are now looking for a Legal Counsel that wants to join our Legal Team in Lund and contribute to our success journey forward!

WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
The Legal Team consists of legal advisors with a deep understanding of Axis' business. We work as an integral part of the daily business and in close collaboration with our stakeholders. We support the Axis Group globally in cooperation with external advisors. The Team includes legal counsels, senior legal counsels, compliance specialists and a corporate governance specialist. Our goal is to support Axis' sustainable growth through tailor-made and strategic advice. Currently we are 11 driven and professional team members, all looking forward to meeting you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE
As Legal Counsel you will work independently as well as assisting our Senior Legal Counsels. You will work in collaboration with your team members who will act as mentors for you, contract managers and other colleagues within Axis. The job will offer you a global contact net and a variety of challenging work tasks on a cross-functional basis. This position requires a high degree of accountability, drive and communication skills. You will support the business with legal advice within a wide range of legal matters focusing on commercial contracts such as licensing, NDA, consultancy agreements, SaaS and cloud agreements, including DPAs. You will report to Global Legal Director at HQ in Lund. Your work tasks will include:

* working proactively to assess and manage legal risks and provide advice to business stakeholders;
* drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial contracts;
* work with legal knowledge management; and
* drafting and implementing template agreements promoted by Axis Legal.

WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that you are analytical and business oriented Legal Counsel who wants to work in an international environment with commercial legal questions. You are structured and efficient and can prioritize your work tasks. You have the ability to see the big picture and can communicate complex legal assessments and advice in a clear and simple way. As a person you lean forward and are motivated by high-pace work in a rapidly growing organization.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

* a law degree (LL.M) from a Swedish University or equivalent;
* about 2 years' work experience as in-house legal counsel or at a law firm;
* good knowledge and understanding of various areas of commercial law including contracts;
* a service minded and team-oriented approach;
* excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Swedish and English; and
* strong analytical and problem solving skills
