Legal Counsel

Wellspect HealthCare and DENTSPLY Implants are business divisions in DENTSPLY IH AB, a global leader in dental implant, surgery, and urology products and services. Reporting to the General Counsel of Wellspect HealthCare and DENTSPLY Implants, the Legal Counsel is responsible to provide legal counsel and services to one or more of DENTSPLY Internationals seven global business divisions on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, with a partial focus on the two divisions Wellspect HealthCare and DENTSPLY Implants. In this role, the Legal Counsel will independently assume full responsibility for all matters handled - with limited or no supervision - to support DENTSPLY Internationals business operations and core values.

The position is a permanent employment and will be located at our site in Mölndal, Sweden.

DESCRIPTION
The Legal Counsels key responsibilities include:
- Review, draft and negotiate legal agreement
- Manage and advise on litigation
- Advise on labor and employment matters
- Assist with rolling out compliance policies within the Group
- Negotiate and manage corporate transactions including acquisitions and divestitures
- Select and supervise outside counsel to provide critical support on complex legal and business issues
- Advise on regulatory issues including data privacy, antitrust and export controls

QUALIFICATIONS
We expect you to have a formal legal education from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials. We also require at least five years of professional experience (either as in house legal counsel or at law firms). As the ideal candidate you have experience in counselling and working with senior business leaders. You have also experience in handling international legal matters and negotiating commercial agreements. Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal), organizational abilities and proven attention to details are essential for this position.
