What we do at Detectify
Detectify was born from the simple idea that the Internet is broken. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world. They have found critical vulnerabilities at tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Dropbox and used their hacker knowledge to build an advanced domain and web application security scanner that is used by companies such as Spotify, Trello, and KING.
We also collaborate with a global network of handpicked white-hat hackers who continuously provide us with valuable security research. Our crowd-based security network allows us to bring in the best independent security researchers in the world and automate their findings into our tool.


What you will get to do
As the second Legal Counsel in our growing company you will be a central point in our organisation. You will get to work in a multinational team of experienced colleagues within legal, compliance and finance. You will also work closely with the HR team and assist in policy drafting and internal training, as well as advice in HR legal matters. Apart from this you will also:
Support in data privacy and GDPR related matters
Work with various corporate legal matters and formalities for Detectify’s global offices
Drafting and updating standard legal terms and standard contracts
Work closely with the sales team in both Sweden and the US by drafting, creating, reviewing and approving sales agreements,
Be our expert on laws related to Internet security
Assist in internal legal questions related to marketing and trademark
Work with investment and financing deals

Who you are
You are passionate about learning new things and improving your knowledge from both the legal and business perspectives. You have a genuine interest in delving into the world of Internet Security and Security Research. You thrive in an international setting and you are a true team player who likes to work cross-functionally.
Ideally, you have:
2 to 3 years of experience in corporate and commercial contractual matters
Experience of working in a technology company
Experience in SaaS and cloud environments
An academic degree in preferably Business-oriented Law (experience in both civil and common law jurisdiction is a plus)
Fluent English and advanced Swedish skills
