Legal Counsel

Summary

As Legal Counsel you will assist the APSIS Organisation with all kinds of legal related work, primarily focusing on customer and supplier agreements. You will mainly work with commercial law with a focus on commercial agreements, IT and GDPR. Your duties will include, inter alia, to independently review and negotiate agreements and provide the privacy perspective to development of APSIS; products and services.

Work Description

You will have the full responsibility of the legal aspects of the company and your duties will include

- Securing the privacy perspective to development of APSIS’ platform and services
- GDPR internally and towards our customers
- Customer agreements - APSIS is an international company
- Vendor agreements - a lot of focus on our IT environments since APSIS is a company
- Secure processes and necessary knowledge within our staff around all legal aspects of above


Work will be performed mostly in the English language.

Legal is a part of the Finance team.

Requirements

We expect you to have a law degree (MSc of Law or a “Svensk juristexamen”) and have at least 3-5 years’ experience after graduation. You should be focused on commercial law, preferably with a specialisation in commercial agreements and personal data.

As a person you are a skilled and qualitative legal professional with integrity that is also pragmatic, driven and results oriented. You also possess social and cooperation skills. You master the Swedish and English language very well, both verbally and in writing.

Position type

This is a full time employment. The heavy load of work is close to end of month. We se an increased need for this role at APSIS and will in that case hire additional resources.
